Cold Laminate

Cold laminate Cold laminates are processed through continuous annealing in ovens, achieving a high quality surface finish. Their dimensions range from 0.20mm to 3.00 mm thick, and they are supplied in the form of coils, sheets, strips or rolls. They are appropriate for the manufacturing of exposed or non-exposed pieces used in the sectors of car manufacturing, furniture, home appliances, packaging, civil construction and to build pieces in general.

Hot laminates

Hot laminates are provided in the form of coils, sheets or rolls, with thickness varying from 1.50mm to 16.00 mm, and they can be supplied in coils, sheets, strips or rolls. The product allows manufacturing goods with a highly uniform performance in applications such as metal structures, non-exposed pieces and components in general.

Electrotyping / Zinc-coating

Electrotyping / Zinc-coating

Steel and zinc coating is among the most effective and cost-saving processes used to protect steel structures against atmospheric corrosion. The process occurs as a result of two mechanisms: protection through a barrier formed by the coating layer, and electrotyping or sacrificial coating, which operates in cases of simultaneous exposure of steel-zinc. Main applications: simple folding and forming, civil construction, exposed or non-exposed formed parts, car manufacturing and home appliances. Dimensions range from 0.20mm to 3.00 mm thick, and raw materials can be supplied in the form of coils, sheets, strips or rolls.

Heavy plates

Heavy plates

Heavy plates can be processed through conventional lamination, or lamination controlled through thermal treatment. Some high resistance plates have very specific applications, such as the structural tempered and coated plates, which are highly resistant to abrasion. They are divided into large application groups: structures, civil construction structures, highway structures, agriculture and tractors, pipes with large diameters, boilers and pressure vessels.

Galvalume

Galvalume

Galvalume is the trade name for steel plates coated with a layer of Al-Zn-Si that is applied through a hot-dip galvanization process. Its coating allows the balance between resistance to corrosion through the barrier provided by aluminum and the electro-galvanized protection of zinc. Having the appearance of aluminum and the resistance of steel, galvalume is resistant to very high temperatures that may reach 320ºC. These features confer greater reflectivity and thermal efficiency to galvalume, allowing material cost reductions. Galvalume is applied in different segments, such as:

  • Civil construction, especially in the market of roof tiles, since it reduces electricity costs.
  • Car industry, in the manufacturing of heat deflectors, brake protection lids, floor boards, seat holders, exhaust casings etc.
  • Stock of seeds and grains.
  • White line home appliances.
