Electrotyping / Zinc-coating
Steel and zinc coating is among the most effective and cost-saving processes used to protect steel structures against atmospheric corrosion. The process occurs as a result of two mechanisms: protection through a barrier formed by the coating layer, and electrotyping or sacrificial coating, which operates in cases of simultaneous exposure of steel-zinc. Main applications: simple folding and forming, civil construction, exposed or non-exposed formed parts, car manufacturing and home appliances. Dimensions range from 0.20mm to 3.00 mm thick, and raw materials can be supplied in the form of coils, sheets, strips or rolls.
